The 20-year old young prodigy was born and raised in Memphis. Going through hell as a young kid has made him a diamond in the Memphis rap scene.
Losing his two best friends to gun violence, and being raised between his father and mother, made AP go down the wrong path of drugs, guns, and violence.
However, after he was arrested for gun possession, he was facing some serious charges and was going to spend a long time in prison. That’s when he realized that’s not how he wanted his life to be, so he started focusing on music more.
Although he was the only fan he had, with hard work and dedication, he got positive feedback after dropping ‘‘Action’’, where he spoke about the lifestyle he lived and the struggle he went through.
Trust, betrayal, and struggle are a common theme in AP’s tracks, and it is strongly present in the masterpiece ‘‘Minute Phone’’.
Premiered on the 8th April 2021, ‘‘Minute Phone’’ has gathered over 300 thousand views on YouTube and got a lot of love from the fans. I mean, how can you hate a young talented rapper spitting his heart out on a sick beat!
